Visa Appointment & Health
Book an appointment at the German Mission (VFS or Embassy). You need your Blocked Account confirmation and "Incoming" Health Insurance (travel insurance for the first few weeks).
Visa Issuance (3-6 Weeks)
You will initially receive a 3-6 month entry visa. This allows you to travel to Germany. You cannot work full-time yet, but you can enter the country to finalize your enrollment.
Anmeldung & Residence Permit
Upon arrival, you must find housing and complete Anmeldung (City Registration) within 14 days. Only after this can you activate your Blocked Account payouts and convert your visa to a Residence Permit.
